In order to drop a class and stop future billing, you must submit a drop form in writing with 2 weeks notice before the first of the month or you will be automatically billed for the following month. In order to complete a drop form visit the front desk or email SpotlightDanceAndActing@gmail.com for form. Withdrawal form must be turned in to the office or emailed. The student must finish the month paid in full or forfeit any unused lessons, as there are no refunds given.
Families must have a credit card on file and agree to autopay. If you would like to update your card on file you must do so before autopay runs on the 1st of each month. Tuition does not adjust for studio closures due to planned holidays or acts of nature/God like a fire, flood or disease pandemic. If an AutoPay card is declined, and tuition remains unpaid, the account will be charged a 20% late fee 3 days after the payment collection was attempted. If the balance is not paid in its entirety within 7 days from the card decline, the student may not attend their lessons until payment has been made in full. It is the responsibility of the client to inform Spotlight Dance and Acting Studio of any expired cards, changes in card numbers, lost or stolen cards, etc. You can adjust your AutoPay credit card from the studio portal at anytime at https://app.studiolabsoftware.com/familylogin/
Spotlight Dance and Acting Studio offers makeup classes to those who call or text the studio at (805) 719-1555 at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled class. The make-up class must be scheduled within 30-days of the missed class. If the make-up class credits are not used within 30-days from the missed class they will expire and the make-up credit will be forfeited. Make-up class are offered as a courtesy. If the available time slots do not work for your schedule, additional times will not be offered and your make up credits will be forfeited if they have not been used within 30-days. We do not offer make-up classes for holiday closures. Our tuition is based off of a 4 week month. Tuition remains the same regardless if the month is 3 weeks or 5 weeks as our scheduled classes even out to 4 weeks per month.
The studio reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach classes. Refunds are not granted for staffing changes. If your teacher must miss a lesson and the studio cannot arrange a substitute, you will be notified and your lesson will be rescheduled or, on rare occasions, your lesson will be refunded.
Spotlight Dance and Acting may use photos and/or videos of past or current students for publicity and advertising purposes. This includes YouTube, social media, website, and print advertising campaigns. We do not identify individuals by name without the consent of their parents. If you do not consent to this, inform our office staff and we will add a NO PHOTO tag to your child’s account. They will be asked to step out of class photos. No royalties, fees, or other compensations will become payable for such use.
